Microsoft Charged Over New Microsoft windows 8 Floor Interface

SurfCast, which registered the court action, says that the tiles breach a 2004 certain it maintains for “a program and method for multiple display of multiple details sources” presented in a lines format, Wired mentioned.

Windows 8′s Stay Flooring can be designed to show application data, weather, news statements, new Facebook or myspace (NASDAQ:FB) posts and other details on different tiles.

SurfCast, which maintains a number of patents, but does not appear to produce any application or technology, is asking for unspecified loss as a result of the sale of Microsoft windows 8.
